Prince Harry and Meghan Markle beam in surprise appearance after being plagued by rumours

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all smiles as they made a surprise appearance doing special phone calls to a variety of young people as part of their latest campaign project.

The couple have recently been plagued by rumours surrounding their marriage, after a tumultuous couple of years following their decision to move to California in the USA.

Some royal fans became convinced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are parents to Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, have been struggling to maintain their relationship in the spotlight.

But the latest video of the pair showed them putting on a united front and looking stronger than ever.

The Duchess, 41, looked radiant as she donned a sleeveless turtle neck dress during the call, as she sat on a bench outdoors with her husband.

Wearing her brunette locks in a wavy style and side parting, the royal finished off her look with smokey eyeshadow and a slick of lipstick.

She then accessorised with a pair of dainty drop earrings and an array of jewels on her fingers and wrists.

Harry opted for a smart white shirt, his coiffed signature red hair on display too.

Professional footage of the couple showed them apparently filming in the garden of their £12million Montecito mansion, despite false rumours there's trouble in paradise.

The video clip was released by the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, and showed the royal couple delivering a series of calls to young people making a difference in the digital world.

"Thank you for doing everything that you do. Our kids especially are incredibly grateful," Harry was heard saying on the phone to once excited youngster.

It comes as Harry and Meghan were recently announced to be attending the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf next month.

After questions over whether the pair would opt to appear together, it seems the couple are determined to show they are as united as ever, and will be in public for a variety of the events between September 9 and 16.

While it is not yet known if the couple will stop off in the UK ahead of their planned trip, it is thought that Harry and his brother William, the Prince of Wales, are still struggling with their ongoing rift.

Meanwhile, despite claims the couple have been experiencing difficulties lately, a source claims the Duke will do everything in his power to make the marriage work.

They also claimed that he'll be determined not to "traumatise" his kids in the same way he believes he was by the Royal family and his own mother and father Princess Diana and the King's decision to get divorced.

“The Sussexes’ marriage is fine,” the source told OK! “The reports of a separation stemmed from Harry making a solo trip to Africa, but that’s a work trip. It’s not a sign of trouble in their marriage.

“Even if there were struggles, Harry would want to make it work. He has invested so much time into their relationship and adores his family. Coming from a broken home himself, that’s extra motivation for him to keep his family together," the insider added.
