Prince Harry tells mourners ‘it’s lonely without her’ as he remembers beloved Queen

Prince Harry was seen chatting to mourners outside Windsor Castle where he confessed it's now a "lonely place" following his grandmother, the Queen's, death.

The Duke of Sussex, 37, was joined by his wife Meghan Markle, as well as his brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton.

The quartet greeted well-wishers outside Windsor Castle on Saturday afternoon (September 10) following their departure from the Queen's final resting place in Scotland.

Prince Harry was consoled by the Duchess of Sussex, 41, who could be seen patting her husband on his back as he spoke with mourners.

The grieving prince was filmed admitting to members of the public outside Windsor Castle that it's "a lonely place up there now without her".

He added: "Every room she was in, we felt her presence throughout."

The so-called "fab four" reunited after years of speculation that the couples had fallen out.

A body language expert told The Sun that it was "comforting" to see Meghan supporting Prince Harry.

Judi James said: "It’s comforting to see Meghan's supportive touches on the back and partial hugs for a clearly upset Harry."

According to Prince William's spokesperson, it was the now Prince of Wales who offered the olive branch to his younger brother.

The prince's reunion comes after their father, King Charles III, expressed his "love" for Prince Harry and Meghan.

In his first address to the nation as King, he stated he wished to "express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas".

His speech also saw a title change for both Prince William and Kate. The King said: "With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the centre ground where vital help can be given."

Although some royal titles have been changed Prince Harry and Meghan's children, Archie and Lili, look set to remain a plain Master and Miss on the royal website rather than prince and princess as some had speculated.

However, the King's spokesperson pledged to update it "as and when we get information".

Despite the lack of formal announcement, they are technically now a prince and a princess because their grandfather has become King, but it has not been confirmed by their parents or Buckingham Palace whether they will use the titles.

The King’s spokesman said the monarch had announced William and Kate’s titles as the Prince and Princess of Wales, and expressed his love for Harry and Meghan in his address to the nation on Friday.

“While the website was updated for the Waleses, clearly updating love on a website doesn’t quite work so we’ve not quite done that but clearly he does love them. We will be working through updating the website as and when we get information,” he said on Saturday.

Asked whether Archie and Lili would take the titles of prince and princess, he said: “At the moment, we’re focused on the next 10 days and as and when we get information, we will update that website.”
