Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a never-before-seen photo of the Duke with their three kids to mark Father's Day on Sunday 19 June.
The photo sees William, 39, who is reportedly mourning the collapse of his relationship with brother Harry, sitting down with his youngest son Louis, four, on his shoulders.
Louis can be seen dressed in a striped shirt with white shorts and navy shoes on as he places his hands on either side of his dad's face while laughing for the camera.
William's eldest son George, eight, looks the spitting image of his dad as he dons a camo-themed shirt with grey shorts while Charlotte, six, looked adorable in a checked dress while holding a pair of pink sunglasses.
The Duke of Cambridge, who reportedly has regret over the last conversation he had with his mum Princess Diana, looks ever the doting dad as he wraps his arms around his children and smiles for the camera.
Kensington Palace have confirmed the photo was taken back in autumn of 2021, when they took a trip to Jordan.
Kate, 40, is nowhere to be seen in the snap and it has not been confirmed if she is the photographer behind the sweet scene in front of the sandy rocks.
William is a very hands on father and has even previously admitted that he learned how to style Charlotte's hair by watching online tutorials.
“Never try to do a ponytail,” he joked. “Nightmare.”
But it's not just with regards to hair styling that the Duke of Cambridge has a modern approach. William himself recognises that having children has had a softening effect on his character, and in the 2016 ITV documentary, When Ant And Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years Of The Prince’s Trust, he revealed: “I’m a lot more emotional than I used to be.

"I never used to get too wound up or worried about things. But now the smallest little things, you well up a little more, you get affected by the sort of things that happen around the world or whatever a lot more, I think, as a father."
He continued: "Just because you realise how precious life is and it puts it all in perspective. The idea of not being around to see your children grow up [is horrible].”
Ensuring George, Charlotte and Louis enjoy plenty of normality in their lives means William and Kate regularly taking them on typical family outings – such as to swimming or tennis lessons, or for family pizza nights.

Speaking to GQ magazine in 2017, William emphasised his wish to keep Charlotte and her siblings grounded, saying: “I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world and that is so important to both of us as parents.
"I want George to grow up in a real, living environment. I don’t want him growing up behind palace walls, he has to be out there.”
