Ricky is not opposed to finding love again in the future, as he told the publication: "I do see myself in another relationship," admitting he "loves being in love" and likes "a morning kiss, breakfast, and complicity".

The couple's shock split came in July, and in a statement obtained by PEOPLE, the now-exes jointly announced: "We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honouring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years.

Years before the split, Ricky gushed about his partner in an interview with US talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres, as he told her how he and the award-winning Swedish painter got together: "I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does. Really original. And I contacted him and then I collected him."

He also discussed the moment he proposed to Jwan in 2016, a year after meeting, as he admitted that his nerves got the better of him.

Ricky explained: "Instead of saying 'Will you marry me' I said, 'I got you something!'" After a little confusion on Jwan's end about exactly what Ricky was asking, he said yes, and the pair went on to marry in 2018.
