Sam Faiers shares delight as baby Edward ‘sleeps through the night for first time’

In the recent episode of The Sam and Billie Show podcast, Sam Faiers shared her excitement as she revealed that her son Edward has managed to sleep through the night, for the first time.

The former TOWIE star, 32, told her sister Billie Shepherd, 33, the exciting news, as she announced: "Edward slept through the night for the first time last night. We had not one wake-up in the night."

As the sisters celebrated the milestone, Sam continued: "So on Tuesday I set myself a goal, 'right I'm doing it this time, by the weekend I want him sleeping through the night', so I've been quite consistent with it.

"I haven't been doing the cry-it-out method, what I've been doing is I've been laying him in his cot and putting my hand on him and then waiting until he drifts off and then leaving the room."

She added that the first couple of times she tried this he did wake up during the night, however, he did sleep the entire night ahead of recording the podcast.

Sam revealed that she was rather surprised when she woke up at about 6am, just half an hour before her alarm, and realised that Edward had actually slept through the night.

It comes after Sam spent a night away from the tot for the first time since welcoming him in May last year, as she, sister Billie, and their mum Suzie Wells jetted off on a weekend getaway to Paris.

After arriving in the French capital, Sam took to her Instagram story to tell fans it was her first time away from baby Edward, as she joked that she had her breast pump at the ready.

The trio's trip came after Sam, her partner Paul Knightley and their three children enjoyed a sunny Easter holiday in Dubai.

They stayed in the lavish Atlantis The Royal hotel, which only officially opened its doors to the public earlier this year.

But they had other plans for some of the nights away, as Sam shared that she had booked a villa on Airbnb and was now looking for help with a 'scam case' against the host.

She wrote to Instagram: "Hey, please can someone share a direct @airbnb contact with me? I have a scam case but I'm getting no response from anyone.

"I booked a villa with a 'Superhost' with many 5-star reviews, they had been a member for more than 10 years, and I followed all the steps via the @airbnb platform."
