Sam Smith Wears White Mini Skirt on a Stroll With Rumored Boyfriend Christian Cowan

One week after being trolled for wearing an oversized ensemble at the premiere of ‘Barbie’, the ‘Unholy’ singer strolls around New York in a short pleated skirt and tank top.

AceShowbizSam Smith seemed to have not been bothered by online trolls. Around a week after being roasted for their choice of outfit at “Barbie” premiere, the “Too Good at Goodbyes” singer was spotted wearing a white mini skirt while out and about with rumored boyfriend Christian Cowan.

On Wednesday, July 19, the 31-year-old singer was caught on camera strolling around New York accompanied by their fashion designer beau. In pictures circulating online, they could be seen wearing a white pleated mini skirt that came with two black lines.

To complete their nearly all-white outfit, the “Writing’s on the Wall” singer paired their skirt with a sleeveless body fit ribbed tee, a pair of long white socks and light brown high boots. They further put on several layers of silver necklaces and a ring as accessories.

Sam’s rumored boyfriend, Christian, on the other hand, went with a nearly all-black ensemble. He sported a long-sleeved oversized black tee that came with white graphics, donned a pair of short black pants, long matching socks and brown sneakers, and added a bracelet to his look.

In the photos, the “I’m Not The Only One” singer and the British designer appeared to have had a serious conversation while walking next to each other. At one point, the two were captured on camera looking straight at each other.

Sam’s day out with Crhistian came one week after the “Unholy” singer was trolled for wearing “worst outfit.” On July 12, they hit the pick carpet at the “Barbie” premiere in an oversized getup that consisted of a long-sleeved navy sweatshirt that appeared to be several sizes bigger than their actual size.

Appearing to be left disappointed with Sam’s choice of clothing, one Twitter user complained, “That’s possibly the worst outfit I’ve ever seen.” Meanwhile, an Instagram user berated the artist by writing, “The stunt ain’t stuntin. Please stop, Sam. He has lost the message of his rebrand.”
