Selling Sunset’s Mary Fitzgerald-Bonnet has taken to Instagram to thank her fans for their support after opening up about a recent miscarriage
Fitzgerald, 43, initially rejoiced at the news of her pregnancy with husband Romain Bonnet after a vacation to Bali in December.
But the couple’s happiness turned to sorrow during a routine ultrasound that failed to detect a heartbeat – with her heartbreak being caught on camera for filming of Selling Sunset season seven.
“I went through on the season resonated with you I hope you feel the giant hug I am giving each and every one of you,” Fitzgerald stated on Instagram.
She continued by saying, “I also want everyone to know that I am reading all the comments and messages thank you to everyone for sending Romain and I so much love.”

During a recent PEOPLE interview, Fitzgerald described the loss as both an emotional and physical blow that was unexpected. She shared her experience of trying to maintain a stress-free environment during her early pregnancy.
This season, viewers may notice Fitzgerald’s reduced presence as she stepped back from her managerial role to avoid stress and focused on self-care, including light workouts, healthy eating, and yoga.
The reality star underwent a dilation and curettage procedure following a septic miscarriage, a serious uterine infection.
She praised Bonnet for his support during this difficult time.

The couple, who had a civil union in March 2018, celebrated their official wedding in October 2019 in Los Angeles.
Fitzgerald, who has been married twice before, has a son from a previous relationship.
Fitzgerald opened up about her miscarriage on Instagram in March and expressed her continued desire to have children with Bonnet.
She also shared their cautious approach to expanding their family, considering their busy careers.
