Ahead of Sir Rod’s latest Hits residency date – which began in August 2011 – the pair joined Geri Halliwell-Horner at the Las Vegas GP qualifying.

The Spice Girl, 51, was in Nevada supporting her husband Christian Horner, who is the Team Principal of Red Bull’s Formula One team.

Earlier this month it was announced that Sir Rod’s long-running residency would be coming to an end next summer.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame singer is due to wrap up The Hits shows in July and August of 2024.

Regarding the tour coming to an ed Caesars Entertainment executive Jason Gastwirth said: “Sir Rod Stewart is a true rock legend, and we have had the great privilege of being his Las Vegas home at The Colosseum for more than a decade.

“Throughout his residency, we’ve been amazed by Rod’s impeccable showmanship and superstar talent highlighting his timeless catalogue of hits, and we are incredibly grateful for the countless memories he created for our guests.”

However, the end of The Hits tour doesn’t mean the ‘D’ya Think I’m Sexy?’ singer is quitting performing live.

In a recent interview with Haute Living magazine, Sir Rod announced that after finishing up in Nevada, he wants to try something new and exciting.

“Purely, I love Caesars Palace. They treat me like a king.

“But because I’ve made a swing album with a guy named Jools Holland, I really want to start singing that stuff. I want to promote it.”

He added that if he ever goes back to Vegas and the upcoming record is a “big success” the next shows could be “a swing show, big band stuff”.
