Ali Bastian’s daughter Isla was taken to hospital last weekend.
The actress’ eldest, three, “went through a lot” after suffering an asthma attack.
It was previously not known the little one had the common lung condition.
However, the 41-year-old said it had been “viral-induced” as she thanked those that cared for the youngster.
She spoke out in view of her 56,000 Instagram followers, as she detailed how her youngest, Isabella, three months, had also been in hospital just weeks before.
Ali wrote online: “Massive thank you to the staff @kingstonhospitaluk for the most amazing care of Isla yesterday.
“Having never had asthma before she had a viral-induced asthma attack. (Not a huge surprise though with our family history and her history of allergy.)”
Her words were accompanied by a snap of Isla with her husband David O’ Mahoney, who she wed back in 2019.
She continued: “It was an utter rollercoaster of a day but finally settled and thankfully able to come home last night.

“Just need to tell my nervous system [now] that she is safe and home as I still feel on the ceiling.
“She was so, so brave but went through a lot. We need a seriously cuddly day today.”
It was then that Ali detailed how Isabelle had also been unwell.
“Had the littlest in hospital with RSV a view weeks ago,” she added. “Little people eh?”
According to the NHS, RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a very common virus and almost all children are infected with it by the time they’re two years old.
