Stacey Solomon apologises after blunder filming BBC show Sort Your Life Out

Stacey Solomon finds husband Joe ‘attractive’

Stacey Solomon shared an embarrassing blunder with her Instagram followers about her time filming a recent episode of BBC show Sort Your Life Out.

The programme sees Loose Women panellist Solomon, 33, helping families up and down the country as they seek to declutter their homes, with the third series currently being filmed.

The tagline of the show reads: “If your home is in desperate need of a declutter, or you need help streamlining your space with savvy storage solutions, then apply now via the link in our bio. Tag anyone you know that needs Stacey’s help!”

She took a break in production to reveal that she had got Hull – which is in East Yorkshire – and Lincolnshire mixed up, before apologising to all those she had mistakenly offended.

She said in a video on her Instagram page: “Hiya, I’m so embarrassed right now. I’m on my lunch break for Sort Your Life Out.

“When we first started filming we were outside some little Tesco. It was really nice and there were loads of nice people there.

“You know I love people so I was chatting away – saying hello to everyone and just being myself. Anyway at the end of most of the conversations with the people I met, I was like, ‘Do you know what, everybody is so friendly. I love Hull, it’s the friendliest place.

“But then I just sat down for lunch and Dilly (Carter, her co-star) was like, ‘Why do you keep telling everybody you love Hull?’.

“I said, ‘Because it’s so nice and the people are so nice’. Then Dilly says, ‘We’re in Lincolnshire’. I read the wrong day in my diary – we’re in Hull in two weeks’ time.”

Hull maybe is a short drive from the Lincolnshire border, across the Humber Bridge, to the northern reaches of the Yellow Belly county, but it’s definitely not, never has and never will be, part of Lincolnshire.

Solomon then offered apologies to all the people she met on the day, saying she “loved” Lincolnshire, too, before laughing at her error.
