Stacey Solomon wows fans as she makes giant nutracker but Joe Swash says its intimidating

Stacey Solomon declared herself "proud" after she made a giant nutcracker, as we head into Christmas.

The 34 year old mum of five is known and loved for her incredible handiwork when it comes to crafting, and she certainly didn't disappoint with her latest effort.

Loose Women star Stacey took to Instagram to share a reel as she created her Christmas-themed masterpiece out of buckets, guttering and pipe insulation, and the end result was impressive – although perhaps not to Stacey's husband, Joe Swash, who called it "intimidating".

In her caption, Stacey wrote: "PROUD I made a giant nutcracker it’s taller than me & Joe & almost hits the ceiling.

"I actually love him. We’ve named him Neil. He’s made out of 3 buckets, some guttering & some pipe insulation. And he was SUPER easy.

"I feel like every time I see a giant nutcracker it’s hundreds of pounds or it looks soooo complicated to make so I hope this inspires anyone who wants to make one to grab a bucket and go for it.

"I need to think of a way to weigh him down so he can go outside for the front door display this year. Any ideas welcome. But this got me in such a Christmassy mood & SO excited for the Christmas door.

"Happy Tuesday Everyone."

Stacey's best pal Sophie Hinchcliffe, aka Mrs Hinch was full of praise, as she commented on the post: "Oh I love him, amazing."

One of Stacey's followers marvelled: "Stacey… You are an absolute bloody genius. Seriously it looks so good!! I own a wedding and event decor business and I feel like we could use your creativity."

A third person said: "Amazing @staceysolomon I cannot wait to watch your craft Christmas show xxx," whilst a fourth wrote: "Incredible!!!! You are so creative."

Stacey also took to her Instagram stories to talk about her creation, as the glee was clear on her face, as she said "he's so cute" and "I didn't want to make him creepy".

Her husband, ex-Eastenders actor Joe, could then be heard off-camera, saying: "No you didn't make him creepy, you made him intimidating."

She retorted: "What? No he's so cute," as Joe replied: "He's standing by the door like a human."

Turning back to the camera, Stacey explained: "He's taller than Joe and Joe's got a complex now, because of the nutcracker."

Over the top of the video, Stacey wrote: "I finished him. I made a nutcracker and he's taller than Joe," before she went on to say: "I'm so proud of him."

Before she headed out to a work dinner, Stacey took another video as she stood alongside her Nutcracker, who she named 'Neil', as she said: "I love him so much."
