Sylvester Stallonehas reconciled with wife Jennifer Flavinjust weeks after she filed for divorce.
A rep for the movie star toldPage Sixthat the Rocky actor and his wife of 25 years “decided to meet up at home, where they talked and were able to work out their differences. They are both extremely happy.”
This came just one month after Jennifer, 54, filed for divorce from Sylvester, 76, citing that the actor had “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets, which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estates.”
However, an Order of Abatement has been filed earlier this week, which will put a hold on the divorce proceedings as the couple decide to work things out instead.
Fans began to speculate that the pair had reconciled earlier this week, when the actor shared a picture on Instagram showing him and Jennifer holding hands, which he captioned: “Wonderful…”
He also shared a throwback photo showing the couple with their three daughters, who were quite young in the snap.
The movie star and the Serious Skincare founder have been married for 25 years and share three daughters: Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
Sylvester also has a son named Seargeoh, 43, with ex Sasha Crack. He also had a son named Sage with Sasha as well, who tragically died in 2012, aged just 36.
Following her decision to file for divorce Jennnifer spoke to People Magazine, saying: “'I'm sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone.
“While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters. I ask for privacy for our family as we amicably move forward.”
Sylvester also released a statement, which read: “I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.”
Following the announcement of the couple’s split, Sylvestermade the decision to cover up a huge tattoo of his wife.
Images obtained byMailOnlinefrom the inking sessions show the before-and-after's of the actor's tattoo covering, with the outcome showing Butkus, Rocky's bull mastiff from the hit movies, dominating the 76 year old's bulging upper bicep.
Sylvester and former model Jennifer married on 17 May 1997 at the posh Dorchester Hotel in London. She is 22 years his junior.
