SZA‘s “Kill Bill” has broken the record for a track by a female artist with the most weeks atop Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart.
With “Kill Bill” topping the chart dated April 15, it marks the 16th week that the song ranked No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Until this week, “Kill Bill” was sharing the record with Mary J. Blige‘s “Be Without You,” which had earned 15 weeks at the summit.
The song earned 23.4 million official U.S. streams in the March 31-April 6 tracking week, according to Luminate.
“Kill Bill” also dominates the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart and the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart.
Overall, two of SZA’s songs have reached on top of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The first was “I Hate U”, which debuted at No. 1 in December 2021.
