Taylor Swift ‘says I love you’ to ‘new boyfriend’ Matty Healy as she performs in Nashville

Fans are convinced that Taylor Swift has just confirmed her new romance with singer Matty Healy after mouthing the exact same message as Matty whilst on stage for her Eras tour.

Before the singer's latest performance, it was rumoured the couple might reveal their new romance during the Nashville show, however it has turned out more cryptic than fans expected.

The Love Story singer, 33, was caught mouthing the words: “This is about you, you know who you are. I love you” before singing Cardigan from the Folklore album.

Matty was also caught on camera mouthing the same words, as he was drinking from a bottle of wine, whilst he was on stage in the Philippines on May 3.

The 1975 singer was also spotted in the audience in Nashville as one fan posted a photo of him to Twitter and wrote: “MATTY HEALY HERE CONFIRMED”.

Matty’s appearance in Nashville coincides with Taylor’s five-day break from her Eras tour, before continuing her next performance in Philadelphia.

The two videos of the singers have sent fans into a frenzy as one fan wrote: ““this is about you. you know who you are. i love you” AND MATTY HEALY IS LITERALLY THERE OH MISS TAYLOR WHATS THE MEANING OF THIS”.

Other fans however don’t believe that Taylor and Matty are together and commented: “this is the greatest practical joke in history”, while another said: “There is absolutely no way”.

Revealing Taylor and Matt’s romance earlier this week, a source told The Sun: “Taylor and Matty have been planning their coming out' for a few weeks now, and are really excited just to go public with their love.

“Neither of them wants any secrets, or to hide away. The plan is for Matty to walk out on stage mid-show and play two songs.

“They will chat to the audience and, at present, the idea is for them to confirm their romance with some kind of PDA — public display of affection. It won't be anything remotely cheesy though.”

However the concert didn't go as the source said as Matty didn't go on stage with Taylor, nor did he play any songs.

The fiery flame between the new couple is thought to have first sparked 10 years ago when they first started dating, before soon going their separate ways.

The alleged new romance came just weeks after Taylor’s split from long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn was revealed.

Taylor and Joe split in April with a source claiming the break-up was “amicable” and “not dramatic”.

Before Taylor and Joe split, previously rumours had circulated that they were engaged, with a wedding due in late 2023 or early 2024.
