EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Swift will NOT be featuring former flame Matty Healy OR his band The 1975 on her 1989 album re-release
- A spokesperson for the singer has ruled out Healy appearing on the album
- The 33-year-old country sensation briefly dated The 1975 frontman this year
- They had a whirlwind two-month romance before parting ways in May
Taylor Swift will not be featuring her former flame, Matty Healy, on her upcoming new album, DailyMail.com can confirm.
The 33-year-old Anti-Hero songstress is re-releasing her acclaimed fourth album, 1989, next month, and while it had been reported that it would feature a collaboration with her former flame, this is not the case.
Swift and Healy sent the showbiz world into meltdown with their whirlwind romance, which came hot on the heels of Swift’s break-up with boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn, 34, in February.
It had been claimed that the Swift and Healy had recorded a track together while they were dating, and that the country singer would ‘still release the tune’ – despite having split in May.

An insider claimed to The Sun: ‘They’re not even in contact any more, but there’s no hard feelings and Taylor will still release the tune.
‘Taylor was a big fan of The 1975 way before she and Matty hooked up. The band worked with her on her Midnights album but the songs they made never came out.
‘She has a few tracks with the band to choose from but she’ll release the tune they made while they were together.’
However, DailyMail.com can confirm this is not the case, with a spokesperson for Swift confirming ‘neither Matt Healy nor The 1975 are on this album.’
The country idol last month announced at an LA show that her next Taylor’s Version album would be her hit 2014 record 1989. She also revealed that it would feature five new tracks.
Unveiling the album cover on her Instagram page after the event, she gushed that it is ‘my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind.’
The 2014 album, which originally featured 13 songs on the standard version and 16 songs on the deluxe edition, includes her hit singles Shake It Off and Blank Space among others.
‘So here we are on the last night of the US leg of the Eras tour on the eighth month of the year, on the ninth day,’ she teased at the time, telling the crowd she had been ‘planning this for a long time.’

Moving on: Swift has reportedly been dating Travis Kelce
Writing on Instagram, Swift gushed: ‘Surprise!! 1989 Taylor’s Version is on its way to you. The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th.’
Swift and Healy split at the end of May just three days after he was seen kissing a male security guard at a Denmark concert.
The performer was initially linked to Swift following their first meeting, which took place in 2014.
Since her break up with Healy, Swift has reportedly been dating football star Travis Kelce, 33, a tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs.
‘Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out,’ a source told The Messenger on Tuesday.
‘She saw him when she was in New York City a few weeks ago.’
Earlier this month, Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel, 26, packed on the PDA as they shared several steamy kisses as they strolled around New York City together.
