Teddy Soares tears up as he packs up belongings at house after Faye Winter split

Teddy Soares candidly shared that he "teared up" on Wednesday while packing up his belongings at the house he used to share with ex-girlfriend Faye Winter.

The pair met on Love Island in 2021, and remained together until recently. Faye, 27, confirmed the sad news that they had decided to go their separate ways last month.

"I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she penned at the time via social media.

“Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us."

Nearly a month on from the news of their break-up, Teddy, 28, has gone back to the house he used to live in with Faye, who has already packed her belongings, and admitted it was emotional for him.

Starting off the video by wishing his followers a happy International Women’s Day, Teddy went on to share: “I’m here at the house. I have actually been tearing up, which is why my eyes is the way it is. My nose is all red. But… it’s an empty shelf. It’s obviously always going to be quite emotional being back here.”

He continued: “I’m trying to pack some stuff up but yeah, I’m distracted by the fact that it’s International Women’s Day and I’m hugely appreciative of the women that I’ve had in my life.”

Teddy further shared his plans for the rest of the day and that he was going to see his mum, who had an accident earlier today. He reassured his fans that she’s okay, however, and that he was going to go round with some flowers for her.

Echoing similar sentiments to Teddy, Faye also admitted thatshe found moving out of their home as “hard” .

Posting a photo to her Instagram Stories last month of a bed piled high with boxes and bags, she wrote: "Why is moving so hard," with a crying emoji and a white heart emoji.

"One room packed, on to the rest."

Speculation surrounding Faye and Teddy’s relationship status began at the beginning of the year after Teddy shared a clip on Instagram of him crying.

At the time he revealed that he was in a "difficult position" and told his followers "it's okay to cry” – but didn’t share why he was upset.

Not long after, Faye shared a cryptic Valentine’s Day post as she insisted that the romantic day “isn’t just for couples”.
