Olly Murs shares sweet moment he found out wife was pregnant
Olly Murs has shared a sweet video detailing the exact moment he learned that he was going to be a father just days after he and wife Amelia announced the happy news. In the emotional clip, which he shared with his 4.6 million Instagram followers, the former X Factor star can be seen holding out his hands out with his eyes closed.
His wife Amelia then places her positive pregnancy test in his hands and when he opens his eyes his shock and delight are evident. While Olly is never lost for words during his public appearances the star is speechless as he gazes at the test with his mouth open.
The clip then cuts to the moments that they announced the news to friends and family and it is clear everyone is delighted for the couple. Olly and Amelia, who married last July, publicly announced the news last week in an Instagram post.
In the post, The Dance With Me Tonight singer could be seen happily pointing at Amelia’s growing baby bump as he held up a black-and-white ultrasound picture.

Both looked festive as Olly wore a black jumper decorated with white snowflakes, while Amelia rocked a pair of unbuttoned blue jeans and a white top, which she paired with a festive long cardigan covered in gingerbread men.
“Baby Murs due 2024,” the caption read. Olly and Amelia’s fans and friends took to the comments section to send their well-wishes and to congratulate the happy couple.
The good news comes after Olly suffered a professional blow in September when he discovered that he was being axed from The Voice.
He has been a judge on the ITV show for six years and in that time he has won the competition twice and has successfully mentored his chosen artists each time.

Admitting that he was gutted by the decision he told The Sun at the time: “I’m gutted. I got the call last week to say I won’t be back on the show, and it’s a bit of a shock, to be honest. I didn’t really expect that to come.
“But I don’t want to sit here like other artists might, and shine and gloss this up and say, ‘It was my decision’. I don’t want to do that.
“I don’t want to bulls**t my fans or bulls**t people who watch the show, and say, ‘Oh, it was an amicable decision to leave — I’ve got lots of things on next year, I can’t do it any more’.
“No. Genuinely, I accept their decision, and they’ll find someone great, I’m sure. But am I going to miss it? Yeah. Did I want to leave? No. Will I still watch the show? Of course, but it’ll be sore thinking that could have been me…”
