Tommy Fury ‘on cloud nine’ as he vows to enjoy family time after 3 weeks away from Bambi

Tommy Fury has taken to Instagram to say that he is "on cloud nine" as he rides the high of his victory against arch-rival Jake Paul in a highly-publicised boxing match that took place on Sunday night.

Former Love Island star Tommy's fight with Jake had been coming for two and a half years, with Tommy, 23, forced to pull out of two scheduled matches before he finally beat Jake in the ring in Saudi Arabia.

His win came at a cost, however, as he had to leave his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and newborn baby daughter, Bambi, at home three weeks ago to undergo an intense training camp before flying out to Saudi Arabia on 17 February.

Bambi was born on 23 January, meaning she was just days old when Tommy had to leave the family home, and in his Instagram post after arriving finally arriving back to the £4m Cheshire mansion he shares with Molly and his daughter, he vowed to enjoy family time with his girls.

Wearing a black t-shirt, and a plaster on his eyebrow form a cut sustained in the fight, Tommy spoke to the camera as he said: "So guys, I'm back with the family, safe and sound.

"I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who's sent lovely messages. It means the world to me.

"Thank you to everyone who turned out for the fight. It wouldn't be the same without you guys. We did it. We got the job done.

"And now it's time to spend some much-needed family time."

He wrote on top of the post: "Still on cloud 9. Can't thank you all enough for the love. Means the world to me," as he added a red love heart emoji.

Tommy then re-shared a sweet post from his girlfriend of three years, Molly-Mae, who appeared to admit to struggles between the pair "behind closed doors" as she spoke about the pressures that the last two and a half years leading up to the fight had put on their relationship.

Molly had shared a sweet black and white snap of the family reunited, as Tommy held little Bambi and Molly-Mae kissed her tenderly on the head.

She also shared snaps of the pair of them with their daughter amongst the huge white, gold and clear balloons that Molly-Mae had set up for Tommy's arrival home.

Captioning her post, Molly wrote: "DADDYS HOME.

"From day 1 of this fight being mentioned two and a half years ago, I backed this boy. It definitely wasn’t a straight or easy road, we had some seriously not so good days behind closed doors… but Sunday night made it all worth it. The good guy doesn’t always finish last, I am so proud of you."
