Trey Songz Accused of Trying to Pay $200K Hush Money to His Alleged Sexual Assault Victim

For the record, Jauhara is suing the 38-year-old RnB singer for $20 million, claiming that he sexually assaulted her at a Miami nightclub in 2021, around three years after they first met at Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs’ house.

AceShowbizTrey Songz‘s sexual assault case has yet to be over. The “Passion, Pain & Pleasure” artist, who has been sued by a woman named Jauhara Jeffries, is accused of trying to pay her $200,000 to lie about the alleged assault.

For the record, Jauhara is suing the 38-year-old singer for $20 million. She claimed the incident took place at a Miami nightclub in 2021, around three years after they first met at Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ house.

Trey, however, has his side of the story. He insisted that the alleged victim is lying about his attempt to bribe, so he’s demanding that the case be completely dismissed.

Also, back in 2022, a woman named Mariah Thielen accused Jauhara’s lawyer of trying to bribe her to lie against the star. Mariah said she met with Jauhara’s attorney Ariel Mitchell in April 2021 at a bar in Miami.

Mariah said Ariel smelled like weed and was carrying a gun during the meeting. Ariel allegedly offered to pay Mariah between $100k-$200k if she’d lie and say she witnessed Trey sexually assault Jauhara and claim that Trey assaulted her too.

Mariah said the attorney attempted to paint Trey as “the next R. Kelly.” The woman added the plan was to take the allegations to Trey’s team in hopes of coming to a monetary settlement and her lies would help to make that amount larger.

She allegedly reported the meeting to Trey’s legal team shortly afterward.

Ariel has denied the allegation though. The attorney told TMZ, “We’re highly confident and certain the court will find the witness committed perjury. Parties are still awaiting the judges’ further instructions on how to proceed given the witness’ inconsistent testimony during the hearing.”
