In a heart-to-heart with the couples about their relationships, Vanessa mentioned how she and Nick have been together for 16 years. The NCIS: Hawaii star noted it was only during therapy sessions that they truly discovered more about one another.

“We do not need to get into this, but it messes with your relationship. And the reason why I’m choking up is because I’ve had to get through so much s**t to be the best woman for Nick,” Vanessa shared.

Vanessa added that Nick’s trust and support have been a key factor in making them an unshakeable pair.

Offering counsel, she stated: “It’s so freeing to tell everything to them and them still be there to pick you up. It’s really beautiful.”

Vanessa concluded by saying she previously ditched guys for not being a supportive partner.
