Vernon Kay debuts huge back tattoo and shocked fans are in stitches

Vernon Kay shocked followers and celebrities alike on Sunday as he revealed an enormous tattoo of a man’s face on his back.

This Morning’s Vernon showed off the massive tattoo in his Instagram, where he wrote: “Finally got to show #elimanning my punishment for betting against him and @nygiants in 2012.

“He was quite surprised!!”

The tattoo takes up a large portion of his back and shows the former NFL star Eli Manning, 41, in black and white.

Many flocked to the comments to share their disbelief, with June Sarpong writing: “WTF? Is that real?"

Dancing on Ice's Radzi Chinyanganya added: "That is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepic!!!"

The 48 year old explained that the tattoo was punishment for losing a bet in 2012 around who would win the Super Bowl.

Vernon backed the New England Patriots, but sadly, the New York Giants took the top spot.

Funnily enough, Vernon offered the explanation on The Eli Manning Show, with the man himself broadcasting from a pub in London.

The presenter said: "In 2012, someone was in the Super Bowl. You were playing the quarterback who is the godfather of my children, Tom Brady.

"Big fan of Tom Brady. I said the Patriots would win and my best friend said that you guys would win. Obviously you guys won."

The athlete then asked: "How did that work out for you?"

In response, Vernon ripped off his shirt and exclaimed: "I'll show you how it worked out."

Eli responded with a shocked "Oh my God" initially before adding: "I think it looks great. You're lucky it's a good looking guy back there."

Earlier this year, Vernon revealed the one reason his daughters watch their mum and host, Tess Daly, on Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking to Heat, the TV host said his daughters Phoebe, 17, and Amber, 13, only watch Tess to see what outfits she is wearing.

Tess, 53, first began hosting the popular dance show in 2004 alongside the indomitable Sir Bruce Forsyth, who passed away in 2017.

Tess later hosted the show alongside Claudia Winkleman once Bruce had stepped down, and now they are back for the show's 20th season.
