Charles & Camilla reveal plans for first overseas royal tour since Queen’s death that will start weeks before coronation | The Sun

KING Charles has revealed plans for his first overseas royal tour since the Queen's death.

The King will have Queen Consort Camilla by his side as he heads abroad just weeks before his coronation.

Buckingham Palace today confirmed the pair will jet off to Germany and France later this month.

The six-day trip will be Charles and Camilla's first state visit of the new reign.

They set off on March 26 to Paris, and will then carry on to Berlin.

The couple will visit Bordeaux and Hamburg, too.

While in France, Charles and Camilla will lay wreaths at Arc de Triomphe, enjoy a State Banquet with President Emmanuel Macron, and tour an organic vineyard.

Then when the couple head to Germany they'll enjoy another State Banquet – this time with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, visit the Bundestag, the German Federal Parliament, then head along to hear more about green energies.

The royals will head out on meet and greets, too.

A Palace spokesperson said: "The visit will celebrate the UK’s relationship with France and Germany, marking our shared
histories, culture and values.

" It is also a chance to look forwards and show the many ways our countries are working in partnership, whether that be to tackle climate change; respond to the conflict in Ukraine; seize trade and investment opportunities or share the best of our arts and culture."

The royal tour plans come just days after The Sun exclusively revealed Harry and Meghan have been booted out of their royal base by the King.

The decision to give the Sussexes the boot comes after the Duke lobbed bombs at the Royal Family in his explosive memoir.

Sources say the main reason Charles evicted the pair is because Harry "crossed a line" by lobbing accusations at Camilla.

They claimed the Monarch couldn't believe his son shockingly accused his wife of leaking stories to the press.

He was also said to be astonished Harry dubbed Camilla "dangerous” and “the villain".

The insider told The Mirror: "It was the last straw. Harry was well aware how Camilla would be a red line for his father and he crossed with flagrant disregard anyway.

“The King felt without a doubt it crossed a line – it was the ultimate act of disrespect.”
