Gardening fans are rushing to Tesco to snap up a bargain buy that'll transform your garden into an outdoor paradise | The Sun

WITH summer in full swing, many of us will be enjoying more and more time in our gardens.

But if you're looking to spruce up your outdoor haven on a budget, then you could just be in luck – and it's all thanks to a bargain buy from Tesco.

Tracey Butterell took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and posted a snap of the Tesco outdoor Salix Flamingo tree she purchased, which cost her just £10.

It wasn't long before the post racked up over 900 and likes and 600 comments – with many rushing to the comments section to show how much their tree has grown in the space of a year or two.

And it's fair to say, it's totally transformed their gardens.

"I bought one last year – it's amazing now," wrote one, before sharing photo evidence.

Another commented: "I bought one too, didn't realise they would grow so big, look beautiful!"

And a further added: "We have 5 in our garden.

"One either side of the steps down from the patio and another one either side the summer seat and a lone one in a bed at the end.

"When planting, remember to give them plenty of space to spread because the ones either side of the patio steps are now so huge we have to squeeze through them, even after trimming every year.

"But they are wonderful value for any garden."
