Hair pro shows off the unique technique she uses to give curly haired clients straight locks but people are horrified | The Sun

A HAIR guru has left social media users utterly horrified after demonstrating how she gives her clients silky locks.

Those with curly hair will know that achieving a smooth finish can often be challenging – but one beauty whizz, whose identity remains unknown, has come to rescue with a unique technique.

The clip, uploaded by @8rlx1swent, viral on TikTok and sees the woman straightening the client's locks.

But whilst that might not necessarily be unusual, it is the amount of times she went over one strand of hair.

Perhaps to be more effective, the woman used two hair straighteners at once, grabbing one as the second had already reached the end of the locks.

The short video, which was just 21 seconds long, saw the beauty whizz straighten the same bit of hair over a dozen times.

Although the client didn't seem fussed or alarmed, there was a lot of steam coming out from the sheer volume of heat applied.

Hair-rified at what they were seeing, TikTok fans flocked to comments of the clip that's been viewed close to a whopping 8million times.

''What in the heat damage,'' a mortified person exclaimed.

Someone else was lost for words, writing: ''My jaw dropped.''

Amongst the people who had watched the viral video were also those who reckoned she was doing a keratin treatment.

But for one woman, her dream of silky hair turned into a nightmare, as she now issued a stark warning to fellow beauty enthusiasts.

Like many, Chloe Sinclair Jones, from Cardiff, used to take great care of her long hair and on one occasion she decided to treat herself to a keratin treatment.

However, now, six months later, she's losing handfuls of her once-pretty locks, leaving the mum in tears.

Urging fellow beauty enthusiasts to not make the same mistake, Chloe warned her 3.4k followers on TikTok.

''Watched my self [myself] go from a happy outgoing person to a depressed mess that crys [cries] everyday about my hair,'' she revealed in the now-viral video.

''[I'm] not the same person I was 6 months ago,'' said Chloe, adding she wished she had never got it done in the first place.

To prove just how much she had lost over the course of a few months, Chloe shared snippets of herself before and after the hair-rific nightmare.

Half a year ago, Chloe's hair was long and thick – but now, with huge chunks of locks in her palms, the woman was constantly in tears.

''I don’t think I’d even get it back to the tickness [thickness] and length it was that’s what’s the hardest part,'' she opened up to her fans.

Seeing the dramatic difference, social media users flocked to comments to show support.

One said: ''People saying it’s just hair. You don’t understand the time and patience it takes to have hair that long.''

Someone else recommended: ''Get hair mayo. It literally saved my hair after keratin treatment.''

A third had a similar experience, writing: ''I had a keratin treatment almost two years ago and my hair all fell out. it’s never been the same.''

''Beautiful, the person who told you that it was keratin was envious of you because keratin hydrates and repairs hair, prevents frizz, sorry,'' read a comment left by a person who reckoned the hairdresser had done this on purpose.
