How Holly Willoughby keeps her hair looking great despite 5am starts – & how you can do the same thanks to bargain buys | The Sun

The hairstylist behind Holly Willoughby's enviable blonde bob has shared the products she uses to keep the presenter's hair looking totally flawless.

Whether it's for morning TV or getting mum-of-three Holly WIlloughby red-carpet ready, hair stylist Ciler Peksah always relies on the same trusty products.

And if you're eager to replicate the presenter's golden bob then you're in luck, because the hair whizz has now revealed all.

In a blog posted on the presenter's lifestyle website Wylde Moon, Ciler shared the six bargain buys she swears by – and prices start from as little as £3.

Heat protectant

We all know the damage heat can have on our hair, so it's important to get yourself a good heat protectant spray.

And one of Ciler's favourites is the 'IGK Hair, Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray,' which is a total bargain at just £13.

She explains: "The Spirulina ingredient in this heat protectant contains anti-oxidant properties to help improve overall hair health."

And if you suffer from the dreaded frizz, then listen up!

According to the hair pro, the formula contains enough Keratin that'll help keep your frizz at bay.

Volumising hair spray

Let's face it, achieving volume that last all day can often prove to be a challenge.

But luckily, Ciler has the perfect solution – and it's all thanks to 'Vo5 Volume Boost Gel Spray,' which is a total steal at just £3.

She praises the gel spray for helping to "lift the hair at the root while protecting it from frizz" and points out it has a UV filter for added hair protection, too.

For a pricier option, the hair whizz suggests the vegan and cruelty free 'Briogeo, Blossom & Bloom™ Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing Spray.'

Priced at just £22.50, she says it's a great to use instead of dry shampoo and will add volume to the hair without weighing it down.

Blow-dry styling spray

If you're looking to recreate a salon-worthy blow dry at home, then look no further than the Charles Worthington 'Volume and Bounce Big Blow Dry Spray.'

According to Ciler, the £5.33 product "gives huge body and hold to the hair when blow dried' and has added heat protection – bonus!

For a high-end alternative, the hair pro says she's a huge fan of 'Bumble and Bumble All Style Blow Dry,' which costs £27.

She explains that the product works on all types of hair and recommends applying a generous amount from root to tip, before blow drying.

Texture spray

If you're looking for a reasonably priced texture spray, then Ciler believes that Kristin Ess 'Dry Finishing Working Texture Spray' could just be your answer.

Retailing at an affordable £8, she notes that the bargain buy works on any hair type and will help to "boost body and add texture."

The hair whizz also goes on to recommend a pricier option for anyone with a bigger budget – the £29 'R+Co Balloon Dry Volume Spray,' which has an ultra-light hold.

Not only is it vegan and free of parabens, but it also boasts botanical which she says will help leave your locks looking super shiny.

She adds that it's the perfect choice for those looking to add both texture and volume to their tresses.

Styling products for the final touch

When it comes to adding the final touches to your hair, Ciler advises reaching for the 'Original Sculpting Clay' by Fish.

And unlike some products on the market, it won't break the bank, with the clay retailing at just £6.29.

The hair guru explains that the lightweight formula gives a paste finish and is ideal for anyone looking to create "roughed up, dishevelled styles."

She recommends applying to dry or towel dried hair and warns that less is more!

If you're happy to splash the cash, Ciler says that the £34 'Virtue 6-in-1 Styler' could be worth a go.

Explaining that it's like an "all-in-one," she adds that it not only hydrates and softens, but will help to conquer any fly-away hairs.

Hairsprays with hold and movement

There's nothing more annoying than spending hours on your hair, only for a spritz of hairspray to turn your locks rock solid.

To avoid that common hair mistake, Ciler has searched high and low for hairsprays that offer both hold and movement.

And she believes she'd found the perfect solution in the form of Andrew Fitzimons 'hard strong hold hairspray for maximum control,' which retails at just £6.

The hair whizz notes that the product, which is vegan and cruelty-free, will hold your tresses firmly in place all night long – adding that isn't sticky and will ensure your hair "remains brushable – keeping in that all too important movement."

Ciler goes on to also commend the 'It's a 10 Mircacle Finishing Spray,' which retails at the slightly higher price point out £12.

Reeling off the pros, she notes that it offers flexible hold and can be applied to colour-treated hair.
