I always get comments when I wear my leather corset, people say it’s 'upside down' but I’m just bottom heavy | The Sun

A FAN of the tightly-bound corset has tackled her critics who said she was wearing it the wrong way.

She was fed up with the stream of comments informing her of her fashion faux pas.

The style police said her leather corset was "upside down" but they were wrong.

It only looked that way, she wrote, because she was just bottom heavy.

Dero (@dandydemon) appeared weary as she explained the real story behind her corset.

This lady has 338,000 followers and hails from Los Angeles.

In this post, she tackled some of the comments that have come her way.

It seemed like a compliment at first, but it came with a sting in the tail.

They said: “You look absolutely amazing but I think the corset is upside down, which is why you have some gapping on the top just for your information."

Having enough of ill-informed comments, she wanted to put them right.

“The truth about my extreme corset," she said dramatically.

“Every time I post a video in this corset I get a bunch of comments just like this one.

“So I wanted to set the record straight," she said.

Using a picture of it being modeled, she explained just what was going on.

“It is pointed at the bottom and rounded at the top and people say that this is upside down."

Wrong on every count she insisted: “It is not upside down, it just doesn’t fit me.

“This is the exact corset that I’m wearing in that video. It is the leather wasp. You can see it points down."

It wasn't even perfect on the model: "You can even see the gaps on this model."

She has come to realize that her body might not suit this particular item.

“Either way, I’m bottom heavy and this corset is not cut for that."

Therefore, she had a solution: “Keeping that in mind I don’t wear it for extended periods of time.

“I just wear it to take pictures and then I take it off."

Commenters were incredulous at the jibes she'd had to endure.

One person said: "Corset going to get some criticism. It looks great. Everyone’s body is different."

But this lady was put off hers: “I got that a lot when I’d wear a certain corset in Tiktoks. I eventually stopped wearing it to avoid the hate.”

Nothing wrong with the corset said this fan: “I don’t understand all these comments being rude or repeating the same thing. You look stunning."

This fan of the corset offered her perspective: “Ready-to-wear corsets are going to have fit issues. That’s just how it goes. We are all thankfully gloriously unique."

But this person said the blame may lie in another direction: “Maybe the model wore it wrong.”
