A WOMAN has revealed that she bought an old van and gave it a mega makeover on a budget.
With barely any DIY experience, the woman explained that she watched YouTube videos to teach herself and in just two months, was able to completely renovate the once dated space.
Jay, who posts on TikTok under the username @ilpann77, took to the video sharing platform to show off the van’s stunning transformation.
The nurse confirmed that she can now live and travel in her van and is able to save loads of cash on rent or hotels.
She said: “Bought a used 25 FT TT to renovate to do travel nursing in.
“Two months later and it’s COMPLETE.”

At the start of the video, Jay shared clips of her van before she got to work.
Whilst it was perfectly liveable, it lacked personality and colour and was in need of some TLC.
We then saw her DIY skills in action, as she ripped out some of the insides of the van and spray painted the cabinets.
She then removed the sink and installed new countertops and sinks, giving her once tired van a very modern feel.

Not only was Jay’s black tap and deep sink very on trend, but she also had a feature wall, with a glamorous gold wallpaper that really made the van shine.
Jay also ditched the unwelcoming tiles and put down a new flooring – instantly adding style to the space.
At the end of the video, Jay proudly showed off the finished result.
Furnished with black, navy and green, Jay’s DIY makeover has certainly been a success.
She then shared a short clip of a car pulling along her van as she said: “Time to roll.”
Jay later confirmed: “I’ve never done any of this before, until now.
“YouTube taught me everything I know.”

Jay’s DIY clip has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 977,700 views.
It has 104.5k likes, 1,264 comments and 3,669 shares.
Social media users were left open-mouthed at the van’s new look and were eager to express this in the comments.
