I compared a food shop at M&S and Lidl to see if it’s as cheap as everyone says, I didn’t expect the results at all | The Sun

PEOPLE always assume that M&S is one of the priciest places to do a food shop – but is this really the case?

Well, one woman named Clare Bates (@clarebates2) made it her mission to find out.

Taking to TikTok, the savvy shopper responded to a social media user who claimed: "M&S value range can be cheaper than Lidl."

Clare asks: "Is this comment true? Well, I had to go to M&S to find out.

"It turns out in fact, it is true!"

She then shows off her huge food haul, with food items bought from both M&S and Lidl.
