I did a mega haul from Rita Ora's Primark range to see what's really worth the money – including an £8 wardrobe staple | The Sun

RITA Ora's collaboration with Primark has received very mixed reviews online.

So fashion whizz Lauren Owens decided to do a huge Primark try-on haul to see if Rita Ora's new collection, which is in store's now, is really worth the hefty price tags.

In a clip posted to TikTok (@lauren_ydy_fashion), Lauren begins by explaining how she'd received "pretty harsh" comments on a previous haul she did showing off the singer's recent collab with the high-street chain.

"So I'm going to try all the bits on and show you, because they are actually really lovely," she says.

First up, the fashion guru tries on a brown long-sleeved basic top which features thumb holes.

"It's not see through and it fits beautifully," she explains.

"Yes, it's a thinner material, but for layering in autumn/winter, it's going to be perfect and I think this was like £8."

Next up, she tries on a super stylish aviator jacket.

She continues: "This was £38….I know people have already said, '£38 for a jacket?'

"I get the prices are going up, I understand that, but it's still pretty good for a jacket."

Lauren then goes on to show off the second jacket that she bought for £40.

Speaking of the cream-coloured winter coat, she explains: "A lot of people said this has been in Primark before, but they've just stuck her [Rita Ora's] name on.

"Maybe it could be a possibility, but at the same time, the coat is gorgeous….so this is it on without a hoodie underneath.

"I think it looks gorgeous…the material's like a really lovely, heavy material.

"Again, you can dress this up for an evening out, or you can wear it casually…I love it!"

Moving on, she slips into an oversized cardigan which is priced at £23.

"This looks gorgeous," she says. "And they have this in grey as well and I know that I'm going to get a lot of wear out of this because you can stick this on over leggings with trainers.

"The colour is lovely and I love that it's like a stretchy sort of wool."

However, she notes: "I don't know how it's going to wash…so I'll keep you updated with that."

The next garment Lauren tries on is a super stylish jumper with the black stitching.

"I like this, and I know there's probably quite a lot out there that look very similar, but it's lovely," she notes.

"I love it, but I think I'd tuck it in a little bit at the front or at the side or something to give it a bit of shape.

"But again, this is going to be a classic piece that you can have in your wardrobe to wear throughout the autumn and winter."

She goes on to say that while it's a bit more expensive at £20, she believes the quality is better than some of the others that are in Primark.

"I just love this stitching," she continues. "It's just really different."

She then tries on an off-cream striped jumper which she says "fits lovely" and looks "really, really cute".

The fashion whizz adds: "And again, great for layering throughout autumn and winter."

Next, she tries on a denim maxi skirt, and she says: "I got a [size] 10 and to be fair, I could have got an [size] eight.

"I'm not quite sure if it's meant to be a bit more of a baggier style, but there's quite a lot of room.

"But it's fine, I can put a belt on.

"This is lovely…I think it looks really cute, I love it."

Lauren concludes her mega haul try-on with an oversized T-shirt, £8, and a pair of trousers which are priced at £18.

"I have to say, I think out of all of it, apart from the long cream coat, these trousers are my favourite because they fit perfectly.

"And as well, I'm really long limbed and the length of them is perfect for me."

The post has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 133k views and several comments from fashion fans up an down the country.

"Thank you – they all look great," praised one.

A second enthused: "You suit allllllll of it!"

A third penned: "In love with this coat, in fact most of her outfits."
