PETE Davidson has become a Hollywood staple and an “it girl” magnet ever since he started dating (and quickly got engaged to) Ariana Grande in 2018.
Since then, he’s been linked to a slew of other women: from Kaia Gerber, to Phoebe Dynevor, and now Kim Kardashian.
A woman named Lisa McKinley, who goes by @lisa.mckinley on TikTok, said she was confused about the obsession with Davidson – but one gesture made it all click.
She began: “I’ll be the first to say I did not understand the Pete Davidson hype until the most recent episode of The Kardashians.”
Lisa said that Davidson is clearly someone who excels at speaking to people in their love language.

“If you didn’t see the episode, basically Kim is on her private jet for the first time. Pete isn’t there, but he surprises her by sending her Dibs,” she said, referring to the frozen chocolate dessert.
“Now, this is probably like a $4 box of chocolate, nothing fancy. But apparently Kim’s obsessed with them and it’s something they’ve enjoyed together.”
Assuming that Kim’s love language is gifts, the gesture is extra sweet.
“It’s really not over-the-top. It’s understated. It shows that he was thinking about her, that he remembers something about her, and it seems like it sparks really happy memories of times that they have shared together.”

After receiving the Dibs, Kim couldn’t stop smiling.
“I feel like it’s a misconception that people whose love language is gifts want all these expensive things all the time, when really it’s just those little things that show someone was thinking about you that are so meaningful.”
Viewers agreed with her take:
“She was SWOONING over this ice cream,” one person wrote.
“This is the perfect example to show that gift giving isn’t superficial or money related. It’s about thoughtfulness and listening,” added another.
