A CONTENT creator has delivered a stern message to viewers who were distracted by her on-camera wardrobe choices.
She defended her choice to go without a bra, and accused critics of being old-fashioned with their fashion rules.
Many of the videos posted by Mai (@mai.esh) are standard TikTok content: life updates, jokes about exes, and similar posts.
Others are an in-depth look at shibari, a rope-tying practice often used for bondage – and one that Mai always demonstrates fully clothed.
But despite Mai's chaste look at the intricate knots, trolls have focused on her body and reported some of her clips for being too revealing.
She addressed them directly with a video message that highlighted the absurdity of the criticism.
Mai role-played as one of the snippy commenters, repeating the unsolicited feedback to herself and then responding in a muted deadpan.
"I can see your nipples poking through your shirt," Mai said, quoting the viewers intent on stating the obvious.
Her calm response was simple.
"Okay," she said, totally collected.

"You should put a bra on," the troll continued.
Again, Mai reacted with a devastatingly brief: "No."
Her trolls asked: "Why not?"
But Mai answered the question with a question.
"Is it a secret I have nipples?" she demanded.
Then, she gave her haters a stern warning in bright red letters.
"Stop living in the '50s, please," she wrote in the caption.
Mai supplemented the pithy message in her skit with a more sincere request in the video's description.
"Hey guys, stop reporting my videos," she told viewers. "This is ridiculous."
"There's no nudity in my videos," she reminded them. "I just want to share my art."
Mai said she understood her content might not be for everyone, but said any uninterested parties are welcome to "just keep scrolling."
"I wish everyone to be happy and healthy," she said in her closing comment.
Her commenters were instantly on board with Mai's message.
"Man created the rule," one commenter wrote. "Women, please relieve yourself from restriction."
Another recommended anyone who "can't handle seeing nipples" simply close their eyes.
