A BEAUTY and lifestyle creator has revealed her affordable alternatives to expensive skin care products.
She said they could be found in a food store known for its budget-friendly items.
"If you live by a Trader Joe's, run, don't walk. Trust me," said TikToker Iliana Escobar (@escobar_ili) in a recent video.
"I literally found two dupes today," she added.
Her first product swap was for an award-winning body cream whose scent and firming benefits made it a bestseller.
"This is the Brazil Nut Body Butter and it's the dupe for the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream," she said.
"It's only $5.99 compared to $48."
The Brazil Nut Body Butter has a similarly pleasant scent and plant-based extracts that boost skin health.
It's sold as a Trader Joe's seasonal product during just part of the year.
The second swap was for the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment.

Its resurfacing formula includes hyaluronic and glycolic acids, which work together to exfoliate, hydrate, and brighten the skin.
Escobar's alternative is also infused with glycolic acid, in addition to a bevy of botanicals that work while you sleep.
"This is the Watermelon Overnight Face Mask, and it's a dupe for the Glow Recipe one," she said while showing off the product.
"It's only $6.99 compared to $40."
Commenters were excited to share other Trader Joe's beauty products they enjoy using.
One person said: "Their dry shampoo works really well and smells good."
Another added: "I love their lavender body scrub and it’s super cheap."
"I absolutely love TJ’s products! Their lavender soap and tea tree oil salicylic acid cleanser are my faves," wrote an excited viewer.
There were also people who didn't know about Trader Joe's beauty products and were excited to stock up on their own.
