I got a nose job and love it but trolls say it’s not straight – they don’t realise just how long it takes to heal | The Sun

A WOMAN who flew over to Turkey to get a nose job has had no choice but to hit back at trolls who claimed her surgery went wrong.

In a bid to be transparent about her journey to getting the nose she's always wanted, Shen Luna took to her TikTok to post several clips of herself from days before her surgery to the healed result.

Lip syncing to Britney Spears' Baby One More Time, Shen could be seen with her hair plaited while wearing a black jumper with white flowers on it.

Explaining that this was one night before her surgery, she turned to her side to show off her profile, revealing her nose.

The music then changed to Dua Lipa's Levitating as Shen appeared in a pair of striped grey pyjamas on the night of her surgery.

She could be seen with several bandages over the bridge of her nose as well as just under while she sang the new lyrics.

On the third day of her recovery, yellow bruising could be seen around her eyes as her cheeks remained puffy.

By the one week mark, she was able to take all her bandages off, revealing her now straight nose.

Finally, three weeks following her operation, Shen appeared happier than ever as she showed off the finished results and her brand new hair cut.

Despite her beaming reaction to her new nose, people couldn't help but point out that it didn't appear straight.

"No but wait no one notices it's not straight and goes to the right?" [sic] one person questioned.

Another person said: "Its still a bit crooked," while a third added: "Ummm it's not straight". [sic]

A fourth then shared: "Well, that's cool & all, but your nose can be fixed. Why does it swoop to the side now? Have you mentioned that to your surgeon?" [sic]

Creating a second video just to answer this question, Shen hit back: "Babe, you're obviously not a plastic surgeon. It's not f***ing straight, because it takes one year to heal.

"Google before you come at me in the comments, I don't have time. I didn't expect to blow up and get famous for my nose…"

Elsewhere, she went into details as to why she wanted to get her nose done.

She said: "I really did everything in my power to try to love myself. Like ok I was bullied about it, people called me Pinocchio – whatever, kids are mean. I let all that go…

"Then a few years ago, when I was 24 I think, I shaved my hair off in an act of rebellion to the patriarchy, but also because I wanted to love myself by the time that I was 30. Because it's exhausting trying to angle yourself in certain ways for photos, which I'm sure so many people can relate to – not even just about their face.

" I wanted to love myself and I did, I accepted myself. I felt hot, I didn't care, and my nose looked even bigger. It was a great learning experience, I think every girl should shave their hair off at some point…"

She continued: "It just got to the point where I kept thinking about it. It worked out great because my dad lives in Turkey and we just went to the private hospital where he lives and it was really straight forward."
