I got my nails done for a wedding but it was such a disaster I had to chop them off…I can’t believe I even paid for them | The Sun

A WOMAN was left devastated after her manicure didn't go the way she planned.

Sedona Sellars decided to treat herself to some acrylic nails to complete her look for a wedding.

But the manicure was so bad she had to chop them off before attending the event.

Taking to her TikTok account @sedonasellars, she shared a snap of what she hoped her manicure would look like.

The picture showed some very long talons in a coffin shape, painted in a cute pale blue shade.

Seems easy enough right?

Well, apparently not as her nails looked a hot mess.

The nails were much shorter than the ones she had shown and were square tip rather than coffin style.

Not only was the shape completely off, but the length of her nails was also totally different.

The acrylic used also looked bumpy and one nail seemed much wider than the rest.

She penned: "I think I win this one," when it comes to nail fails.

"These were supposed to be for a wedding I was going to….. I ended up chopping all my fingers off," she captioned the post.

The video has since gone viral with over one million views and over 170k likes.

People quickly took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts – and many were stunned Sedona paid for it.

One person wrote: "I don't understand these types of videos… If you don't like them DONT pay!"

"Anxiety! And I'm not a b***h," replied Sedona.

Another commented: "It wasn’t even something difficult to copy."

"That was the easiest nail to do and they still messed up," penned a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: "I hope you didn't pay for it."

Someone else added: "Even the shape is totally different like what, I’m so sorry."

"I'm crying for you," claimed a sixth.
