A BEAUTY lover has claimed that she's had the worst nail fail of all time – and it was so bad, she ended up ripping the new set off the second she left the salon.
TikTok is full of clips of people sharing their horrific manicure disasters – from acrylic nails looking like teeth to white nails dipped in Tipp-Ex, we've certainly seen it all.
But just when you thought things couldn't possibly get any worse, Jessica Weir, from Canada, recently insisted her fail ''tops everybody'' else's – and it's all because she wanted to support her now-ex's friend's salon.
''I always love having my nails done, […] I love where I go,'' she said in the video.
''I had an appointment that day and my ex-boyfriend […]. he was like 'Jess, like I have a friend who opened her salon in Yorkville as well'.
Yorkville, based in Toronto, has often been described as''the top destination for affluent shoppers'', with its high-end boutiques, galleries and design studios.

But despite being treated to a glass of champagne at the posh salon and hearing that the employees were ''the best in the city'', Jessica couldn't have been any less prepared for what was to come.
According to the beauty fan, things took a sharp turn – for the worst – as she sat down and the owner left the salon, because at this point she learnt that the person working on her manicure had just finished school.
''Everything was so off,'' she recalled thinking at the time.
''It got to the point that this poor guy doing my nails was crying cause they were so bad.''

Jessica went on: ''He was apologising to the point that I felt bad.'
After seeing the disaster – bright neon yellow varnish that was messy and all over the place – the young woman left the salon and immediately peeled the new set off.

''I don't even smoke cigarettes – and I had a cigarette cause I was like so stressed.
''Like honestly, I think my eight-year-old niece could do my nails better.''
Although at the time the client said it was fine, Jessica claimed that even after five years since the incident took place she still had ''no words''.
Giving an update of the situation afterwards, the TikTok user revealed that the salon close down a week later.
Just as mortified, hundreds of social media fans raced to comments in total disbelief, with one writing: ''At least he didn’t gaslight you to think they were fine.''
