Love Island star shares pictures from hospital amid egg freezing journey

Love Island star India Reynolds has opened up about her egg-freezing journey as she posted snaps from the hospital.

The 32-year-old reality TV star looked fresh-faced as she donned a medical gown during the fertility procedure.

Revealing that it hasn't been an easy journey, the star showed images of her having a cannula inserted, as well as showing off the side effects from the treatment.

India kept it real as she showed off her bruised and bloated stomach and shared her experience injecting herself with needles.

In an update to her fans, she wrote: "Egg freezing in pictures. The last two weeks have been a journey, to say the least!"

"Thank you @kingsfertility for being amazing throughout. Thank you also to everyone who's messaged with support, it's really helped with morale and made me feel much less alone. It's not an easy journey, and I'm sending lots of love to anyone going through fertility treatment, she continued.

"I hope you all get the best results possible. There's loads more info in my highlights if you'd like to know more, and I'm planning a Q&A with my doctor for all the things I couldn't answer.

"And a special thank you to @imreynolds__; couldn't have done it without you. You're the best nurse anyone could wish for, and I'm lucky enough to have you as a cousin."

India has been taking to Instagram over the past two weeks to keep her followers updated on her second attempt at retrieving eggs.

On Wednesday, October 18th, she told fans that her second round had been more successful, saying that she was "so relieved and so, so, so happy."

Comparing her second round to her first cycle of treatment, she reflected: "The bruises and the swelling are not the most fun, but this cycle I actually feel 1000x better than last time."

On October 21, she also shared a video talking about her symptoms, saying: "So it's done. I'm very dizzy and light-headed, but that's normal from the sedation. And yeah, just waiting to find out how many we got."

The delighted Love Island star then confirmed on October 22 that she had managed to retrieve 10 eggs that were viable for freezing.

"So, we have very good news from the hospital, and 10 of the 15 eggs are mature enough, good enough, and can be frozen.

"Which is honestly more than I could have ever dreamed were going to be okay because last time, only four were okay, so I was expecting around that number again," she said.
