A DIY-SAVVY mom has revealed the enviable features she has built in her off-grid home.
Klaudia and her husband James (@constructafam) built their dream house taking into consideration ways to reduce their bills and have extra privacy.
Klaudia recommended their favorite home features to their 118,000 followers on TikTok.
The text over the video read: “Things to include in your home build that just makes sense.
“Make it solar powered, no electric bills.
“Make a secret pantry, a hiding spot from unwanted visitors.”
Klaudia showed that the doors in their kitchen which look like cupboards secretly provide access to a hidden room with food supplies and a microwave.
Moving into the bathroom, she continued: “Put your ensuite toilet in its own little corner, it gives you privacy when your partner doesn’t.
“Do an HRV system with a wood-burning fireplace, no heating costs.
“An island made up of drawers to hide all the collected Tupperware that’s not yours."

Klaudia's pantry isn't the only thing hidden away in an unusual place.
She said: “Your closet in your ensuite, it’s just so convenient.
“Your guest bathroom far enough away, so you don’t have to hear them.”
She captioned the post: “Just a few things that make sense in our home.”
Klaudia added lots of hashtags including #HousesofTikTok, #Offgridhomestead, #walkincloser, and #marriedlife.
The home tour went viral with almost 6 million views and 972,000 likes.
Commenters were amazed by the couple’s house but admitted they wouldn’t be able to afford to build a similar home for themselves.
One person wrote: “The smell of money is strong in this vid.”
Another said: “I would do that but I’ll never have the money.”
A third said: “You two are goals! Don’t let anyone say that you aren’t working hard!”
A fourth commented: “This is my dream home, but I’m too broke.”
Another added: “Congrats on the build, love. You have some great ideas. Wish it were legal for me to go off-grid too.”
