I live in the South – when it's hotter than a kitty in a pepper patch & my plants wilt, my simple trick perks them up | The Sun

A GARDENER has shared her easy trick to perk up her wilted plants.

The woman from the South shared the perfect solution to combat the region's intense heat.

Stacey (@sky_laporte) shared the advice with over 10,000 TikTok followers.

"If you live anywhere near the South, it is hot.

"Your plants are starting to look like this, this, and this," she said, showing off some wilted, droopy plants.

Her cheap and sustainable solution only required a few bottles, water, and leftover water-soluble fertilizer.

She mixed the water and fertilizer together in the bottles to create a solution.

"The following morning I put them in plants that I know tend to dry out so the mint and even a couple of my tomato plants," she said, putting the bottles upright in holes she made in the soil.

People took to the comments to share their thoughts.

"Ima do this for my inside plants too thank you," said one commenter.
