DESPITE feeling happier and healthier thanks to her six stone weight loss, Shannon Mitchell confessed she was left with several insecurities over her body.
Shannon, from Belfast, explained that she once weighed over 15st, but after making gradual changes to her eating habits she managed to shed the pounds.
And while she’s happy with the overall results, the body positivity influencer said there have been some consequences she’s found difficult to live with.
Dressed in a light-beige t-shirt and a pair of high-waisted jeans for her TikTok video, she explained that she would be “really real for a second” to show what has happened to her body as a result of her weight loss that “I don’t really like”.
“I just want to say, I would still not change it for the world,” she then explained, before adding: “Although some of these things I can be a little bit insecure about, I would still rather have these little things than be the size I was before, when I was over 15 stone.”
Standing up for people to see her full body length and outfit, she then shared: “This angle is really bad but it’s going to show everything off well.

“First things first, loose skin. I have loose skin. Who cares, right?”
Lifting one arm up, Shannon proceeded to pull on her underarm skin as she continued: “I have some loose skin here, under my arms.”
Flexing her bicep, she added: “I think if I was to go to the gym, I could probably tone that up. But it doesn’t really bother me.”
Leaning down and forward, she then showed where she has loose skin underneath her neck as well as some that she’s observed around her face, by her mouth. Both of these, she explained, she “might try and get fixed”.
