I made my kitchen look so posh thanks to a Primark buy for a tenner – it’s the best money I’ve ever spent | The Sun

JUST because the cost of living is super high right now doesn't mean we should sacrifice a much needed home makeover.

If you're willing to get into a little DIY you might be surprised just how much of a difference you can make in your home.

Chloe Phelps shared a fabulous home transformation which shows DIY really can be done on a budget and still look stunning.

She has transformed her already gorgeous kitchen by installing strip LED lights.

Ordinarily, if you want to add some radiance to your kitchen by installing under-cabinet lighting, you can expect the project to cost between £200 and £265 per light installation.

Factors like the total length of your cabinets, how many fixtures, and desired brightness will influence the project cost.

And of course with the rise in energy bills you could see your bill go up after getting some under-cabinet lighting installed.

Chloe’s video shows you don’t need a big wad of cash or a handyman to elevate your kitchen.

Here’s how she did it.

Chloe bought five packs of indoor strip lights for £1.50 each, some Sellotape and super long lasting batteries all from Primark.
