A WOMAN has revealed that she makes the ultimate Italian meal – using only her microwave.
So if you want to make a quick, easy and delicious dinner, without having to switch on your oven or spend ages stirring away at the stove, you’ll want to listen up.
Posting on TikTok under the username @dollartreedinners, the savvy woman explained how she makes her very own spaghetti and meatballs, in the microwave.
She said: “Today I'm gonna be sharing how to make spaghetti and meatballs in a microwave.
“I know this is going to upset a lot of people, I can already feel the ‘my my Italian grandmother is rolling over in her grave’ comments, but this video isn't for you – it's for a college student, someone living in a hotel, or a parent whose oven just broke and they need to make dinner for their kids.
“Of course you'll need spaghetti, you can use thin or regular.

“You'll need your favourite pasta sauce and some frozen meatballs and optionally, Parmesan cheese.”
Once she had gathered her ingredients, she added: “Take out a small amount of your spaghetti noodles and you're gonna break these noodles into thirds so that they fit into the bottom of your bowl.
“I repeated this for both bowls and then I filled up each bowl to about the top with water, leaving about a half inch gap at the top.
“Salt your pasta water if you like and then for cooking times, it depends on whether you're making just one bowl or two.

“If you're making two, like I'm showing here, you're gonna cook it for 14 minutes, stopping to stir twice.
“If you're making just one bowl, you'll cook it for 11 minutes, stopping to stir once.”
Once the pasta was cooked, she continued: “Add your meatballs into a bowl and top with some pasta sauce.
“Just a side note – your meatballs will heat up faster if they are thawed versus frozen.
“You're gonna cook these for around one to two minutes, until they are heated through.
“Just check a meatball to see if it's hot.”
Once the meatballs were cooked, the savvy food fan explained: “Drain your spaghetti noodles and then I like to add a small amount of sauce with some Parmesan cheese and mix this – this helps the sauce adhere to the spaghetti noodles a little bit better and then I add the rest of the sauce and the meatballs and of course, more Parmesan cheese.
“Since the spaghetti's been sitting off to the side while we've been heating up the meatballs, I like to throw this all in the microwave for another minute to make sure everything is heated through.
“I've actually been pleasantly surprised this week at how well pasta cooks in a microwave.
“It has the same taste and texture as when you cook it over a stovetop.
“You would think that it would be gummy or mushy.
“Of course, every microwave time varies, so just check your pasta and stop when it gets to the doneness that you like.”
