A WOMAN confessed that she accidentally ordered a £257 steak for her anniversary dinner with her husband, even though he only paid £41 for his meal.

She shared the awkward realisation on her TikTok account @ikingdani and it's caused a massive debate over if her husband should have to pay.

In the clip Daniela explained that her beau suggested that she should order a Wagyu sirloin, which is already a pricey option.

But she accidentally ordered a 8-ounce Wagyu steak, resulting in a hefty bill of £376.

Daniela’s husband jokingly shook his hand with nerves as he went to pay for the pricey grub.

“I thought he was going to break up with me,” she said quipped.

“I walked out the restaurant crying,” she added.

The costly mistake was soon forgiven by her partner, “He held my hand while I was tearing up and told me we were going to laugh about it in a couple of months.”

The video has racked up over 4.2 million views so far, leaving viewers unsure if it was right for her husband to fork out for her mistake.

One viewer jabbed: "You should’ve offered to pay half. That’s a big bill."
