A MAN has revealed that he flew abroad and spent a whopping £3,600 on a set of pearly white teeth.
Thomas Williams, who posts on TikTok under the username @turkeyteethh, took to the video sharing platform to open up on his dental journey.
He is just one of many who have jetted to Turkey to get their teeth done, in a trend that has been dubbed "Turkey teeth".
The TikTok hashtag "#TurkeyTeeth" has reached more than 130 million views.
Several reality TV influencers and celebrities have also had crowns done, including former Love Island star Jack Fincham and Katie Price.
The procedure of having veneers done can be aggressive and invasive – as they require almost 70% of your teeth to be filed down.

The young man shared his video with the caption ‘Got them pearly whites.’
In the clip, we saw Thomas in Turkey, as he sat in the dentist’s chair, ready for the dental procedure.
He said “brave the shave” and then showed what his teeth looked like once they had been shaved.
Following this, he shared a clip of the temporary teeth fitted, before he headed back to the dentist to get the veneers done.

He then proudly showed off his new smile, as he confirmed: “£3,600 for veneers.”
The young man was incredibly thrilled with his new smile and confirmed that it was “life changing.”
His video has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly racked up 69.3k views.
It has 946 likes, 90 comments and 139 shares.
But much to the man’s surprise, many people weren’t keen on his new smile and were quick to express this in the comments.
One person simply said: “Horse.”
Another added: “They look shocking 😂”
A third commented: “Have fun doing that every 10 years 😬”
Whilst someone else claimed: “Looks like a cartoon why would you do that.”
Meanwhile, many people were convinced that Thomas hadn’t actually had veneers done and were sure that he had actually had crowns fitted instead.
