I spotted an extreme bargain at Asda for just a quid so filled my whole trolley – people call me greedy but I don't care | The Sun

WE all love a good supermarket bargain, but this shopper was so impressed by the low prices they decided to fill their entire trolley.

After grabbing a whopping 72 boxes of cat food the shopper was slammed as greedy for their mega haul.

They posted a picture of their haul on Facebook alongside the caption: "Extreme bargain at Asda, Whiskas cat food £1.34."

In the snap their trolley is full to the brim with the cheap find, which they forked out £96.48 for altogether.

After clearing the shelves, the anonymous user's post gained mixed reactions.

Some users thought it was unfair to take all the grub and leave nothing for other pet owners.

Meanwhile, others had more of a you snooze, you lose attitude.

One woman even confessed she would've done the same thing, she wrote: "I have three cats and bulk buy every month, this is nothing what she has bought to what I buy.

"If I got the opportunity, I would have cleared the shelf as well, but unfortunately mine will not eat Whiskas it gives them the runs as its to rich."

A second agreed and praised the shopper: "Well done! At least you know your cat has plenty of food for a while. Haters gonna hate."

Not everyone was so enthusiastic about the shelf sweeper though.

"Was any left for other customers who may be struggling with the price of pet food?

"Plenty of people out there aren’t lucky enough to have a spare £96," one fumed.

Another added: "It’s wrong to take all and leave none for everyone else."

"Greedy t**ts! Not thinking of other people," someone else raged.

And another user hit back: "Why are people saying she's greedy?

"If she found a bargain and had the money to buy all that good on her, jeez, jealousy is a vile b**ch eh."
