A CREATIVE home decorator transformed his fence with a £5 product but not everyone's convinced of its effectiveness.
Alex Alvey shared the hack, which involved him dipping a microfiber dusting glove in fence paint, on TikTok.
He said the result was being able to cover the fence in paint within a short time frame.
"Wish I’d tried this sooner," he wrote.
"All you need is a washing up glove, a microfiber dusting glove and your fence paint.
"Managed to get 5 panels done in half an hour and it covers just as well as a brush."

The product in question appears to be a Wilko 2 in 1 Microfibre Car Wash Mitt which retails for just £5.
However, critics said the unusual method was a fast way to notch up a splinter or two.
"The amount of paint wasted, and the fact that you’re going to get one serious splinter," one user wrote.
"All I can feel is splinters in my hand," another added.

Alex said he avoided this by putting a rubber glove on underneath the mitt.
Others were quick to point out a sprayer could be "much quicker and easier".
"You are in for some shock when you realise there are things called sprayers," they wrote.
The creative garden method wasn't the only of its kind with another man sharing how to put new plants in soil when they're most fragile.
