I tried the Skims dress with a 'regular shmegular' body – I don't recommend it at all, don't get tricked into buying it | The Sun

A TIKTOKER has candidly given her take on the viral dress by Skims, sharing that her review is for all the regular ladies.

The fashionista urged shoppers not to get "tricked" into buying the dress by Kim Kardashian's clothing line, which has been lauded by slews of style influencers.

Naomi (@_naomizl_) photographed herself in the famed frock, posting the pictures in a video on TikTok.

"This is officially a PSA to all the girlies with regular shmegular bodies and have, like, a little something something their stomach.

"Do not, and I repeat, do not get tricked into buying the Skims dress," she urged.

She showed the front of the Skims dress, which she purchased in gray.

"Like, it is definitely the body, not the dress," she said, referring to dozens of reviews claiming that the dress creates a seamless silhouette.

Naomi criticized the price tag on the dress, adding: "That's $70?"

She also showed the backside of the dress, approving of the effect it had on her.

"I will say the back does look good, but what is going on in the front?" she added.

She said the dress is not worth the money spent on a frock that she doesn't feel flatters her figure.

"As a petite midsize (ish) girly, I don’t recommend this at all," she wrote in the caption. "For this price it better suck my stomach in."

Naomi tried the Skims soft lounge slip dress in heather gray, retailing for $78.

The video drew in many viewers, most of whom appreciated the dress on her, with one writing: "You look cute, I’m confused."

"Still looks good," another added. "A lot of dresses are like this with no structure in the mid."

"I think you still look amazing," a third commented. "But as someone with a little something something up front, too, I was wondering if it did this — so thank you."

"Thanks you girl," Naomi replied. "I've got to let the girlies know because people have raved about this dress."
