I use four cheap kitchen staples to make my DIY cleaning solution – it's a disinfectant and gets streak-free mirrors too | The Sun

USING four items that can be found in any kitchen, you can create your very own disinfectant.

A DIY content creator revealed the solution he uses to clean glass surfaces in his home.

In his video, TikTok user Armen Adamjan (@creative_explained) demonstrated how to make the handy mixture that leaves mirrors streak-free.

"Grab some lemon peels and chop them up, then grab any bottle you’ve got, and put the peels in there," he told viewers.

The TikToker continued: "Add one teaspoon of salt, one cup of vinegar, a little bit of dish soap, and fill the rest with water, then close it and give it a good shake."

Armen then removed the spray nozzle from another bottle and attached it to his DIY solution.

"What you now have is a homemade natural disinfecting spray," he said.

The influencer explained: "You can clean anything in your house, stove tops, kitchen counters, floors, bathroom sinks, faucets, walls, mirrors, anything."

The content creator told his followers that every surface in their home will be left "crystal clear."

Armen concluded: "So don’t buy those products at the store that contain a bunch of chemicals when you can just make your own natural one out of lemon peels."
