I wanted a ‘small and dainty’ butterfly tattoo on my wrist – I ended up with a ‘hot mess MOTH’, it looks awful | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed how she was left in shock and disbelief after carefully considering a tattoo design but ending up with an inking nothing like what she wanted.

In the now-viral video, TikTok content creator Saya explained that she had recently got a new tattoo, but was left devastated when she saw the results.

The video, captioned: ‘I don’t necessarily want a cover up but if anyone has any ideas on how to make this look better PLS LMK THX’, shows Saya’s new “butterfly” tattoo.

She explained: “I got a new tattoo a few weeks ago and now it’s healed I’m realising how much I hate it”.

“It’s not UGLY it’s just not what I wanted and for some reason  it’s healed really weird”.

In the video, she shows what the tattoo was meant to look like – a small and dainty butterfly – followed by a picture of the tattoo she ended up with, which resembles a huge moth.
