THERE’S NOTHING worse than going to a nail salon to get your nails done and walking out leaving disappointed.
If you have a design or style in your head and end up leaving with a lighter purse and hideous nails – it’s happened to the best of us but it really does sting.
One woman took to TikTok to reveal what happened when she went to get her nails done and the result was definitely not what she was expecting.
Known on TikTok as ‘kelskristinee’, the beauty fan wanted to get some gorgeous green nails done for Autumn.
She had seen a picture online of the colour and shape that she wanted, so showed it to the nail technician so she knew what it was that she wanted to have done.
But when her nails were finished, the social media user was left stunned, as her nails looked nothing like the picture she had shown.

She uploaded her video to the video sharing platform with the caption ‘and yes I did ask her to redo them…she said no’.
She warned: “I advise being clear to your nail tech what a glare is in a photo of your nail pic inspo”.
The beauty fan explained: “I wanted the shape and the exact dark green colour so I said “do you have this colour?” And she said yes.
“And I thought it was the top coat until I realised it wasn’t and thought she was being creative and doing an ombré”.

In the picture, the nails are a beautiful green colour.
But because of the glare in the image, the nails look almost as though they are slightly two-tonal.

The nail technician clearly didn’t understand that it was glare making the nails look this way, and went ahead and gave the beauty fan two-tonal nails.
It’s safe to say that the nails look nothing like the picture shown and the shape of the nails is also slightly off too.
The video has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 5.2million views.
It has 462.1k likes, 1,483 comments and 1,899 shares.
TikTok users were stunned at the woman’s nails and many were hopeful that the beauty fan didn’t pay.
People also pointed out that not only were they not the correct colour, but the nails were all very uneven too.
One person said: “Please tell me you didn’t pay”.
Another added: “As a nail tech, i suggest you find a new nail tech. not just because of the glare issue lol”.
A third commented: “Girl, fire her. Forget the colour. What was she doing with the shape???”
Someone else noted: “Why are they all different shapes? I’m laughing so hard”.
In a follow-up video, the beauty fan responded to comments asking if she paid for the nails.

“Although she didn’t do what I wanted, she still did the service and that’s on me for not speaking up earlier”.
