A WOMAN has shared how her dream of going all blonde soon turned into a nightmare which left her in tears.

When booking an appointment to get your hair done professionally, you expect to leave the salon feeling like a million dollars – after all, you forked out a fortune.


However, this was not the case for one woman, Lauren Tacco, who found herself crying after a stylist destroyed her locks.

According to the stay-at-home mum, believed to be from the US, the experience could be described as an ''emotional rollercoaster'', which did not end on a high.

Before things went wrong, the parent was sat in the car all excited for the makeover.

Although Lauren was happy with the current length, rocking a bouncy bob just below her shoulders, she had wanted to give her locks a blonder look.

In her video, the beauty enthusiast said that she had also requested more highlights around her face, as well as some balayage.

But little did she know that none of this would ever come true, as the expert behind the masterpiece tried to remove some of the brassiness with an orange toner.

This, in turn, made her hair go totally orange, and after a whopping five hours in the chair, Lauren had finally had enough and she stormed out of the salon.

Filming her reaction in the car, the mum was in tears, describing the outcome as ''so bad''.

Although viewers demanded more detail, Lauren insisted that even she didn't know why things went so wrong.

The hair fail, posted on Lauren's TikTok page, has since gone viral, winning her close to 3million views.

One professional in the field said: ''As a stylist I am SO confused by this.''

Another was just as horrified, writing: ''I am so sorry, I would be crying too!!

''Please call the manager, there’s no reason you should’ve had to pay for this. They need to fix this.''

Someone else reckoned: ''What she did was inexcusable, but that color looks beautiful on you.''

A fourth was totally baffled: ''I need to know the communication that happened and see the reference photo for this, because…. HOW.''
